Rental Scams: How to spot a fake!

We keep hearing how many people find out they have been talking to a scammer trying to take their hard earned funds, while claiming to be from Irish-Jones. Check out the following:

1- Always search out for the address of the unit online outside of the website you find the listing on. Irish Jones will post the listings to Multiple sites; Zillow, Trulia, Hotpads, Realtor.com and Facebook Marketplace are where you can find our adds.
2- READ THE DESCRIPTION. This is our fatal flaw in the one click world where we live. If you ready the unit description, it should always have the proper instructions on how to apply. In this case, Irishjones.com is the only place where we accept applications. This, along with our rental requirements are posted on every listing.
3- View the unit first. Irish Jones will always be willing to complete an in person viewing, where one of our agents will take you through any unit you would like, before you are required to put down a deposit.
4- Don’t go alone. We are more than happy to meet your friends or family on the tour, so feel free to bring them.
